Das Grab für den Mathematiker
Ludwig
Otto Hölder und seiner Gattin befindet sich auf dem
Südfriedhof
(Prager Straße) von Leipzig, der sich südlich an das Gelände des
Völkerschlachtdenkmals anschließt.
Der Grabstein besitzt im oberen Bereich als Relief eine stilisierte Öllampe, darunter
die teilweise nicht oder nur noch schwer erkennbare Inschrift:
| Helene Hölder geb[orene] Lautenschläger * 12. ??. ?? + 18. 3. 1927 Otto Hölder Dr. phil. Professor d[er] Mathematik * 22. 12. 1859 + 29. 8. 1937 |
Auf dem Südfriedhof ist auch Herbert Beckert bestattet.

in the street named Prager Straße in Leipzig. At the upper part of the
gravestone there is a relief of an oil lamp and below the inscripction, which is partially
not or hard to read:

Herbert Beckert is buried on the same cemetery.
