Die Statue von
Leonardo von Pisa (genannt Fibonacci) befindet sich auf dem
Friedhof (Camposanto) in Pisa. Dieser Friedhof ist eine bereits im 13. Jahrhundert geschaffene, ausgedehnte Anlage, in deren durch Bögen begrenztem Umgang Marmorfiguren bedeutender Persönlichkeiten stehen. Der
Friedhof bildet mit dem Dom, dem Baptisterium und dem Schiefen Turm das Ensemble auf der
"Piazza dei Miracoli".

The statue of
Leonardo Pisano (called Fibonacci) stands on the
cemetery
(Camposanto) in Pisa. This cemetery was layed out in the 13th century.
The surrounding arcade contains marble figures of important persons. This
cemetery forms together with the cathedral, the baptistery and the lop-sided tower the ensemble
of the "Piazza dei Miracoli".
