Im oberstem Stockwerk des Ulmer Stadtmuseums sind die Exponate ausgestellt, welche sich auf die Ulmer Stadtgeschichte beziehen. Dort findet man zum einen ein Gemälde mit einem Porträt vom in Ulm geborenen Rechenmeister Johann Faulhaber. Der Begleittext besitzt folgenden Wortlaut:

Bildnis des Johann Faulhaber
um 1625/30
Öl auf Leinwand
Das Halbfiguren-Porträt zeigt
Faulhaber mit Stechzirkel,
aufgerolltem Zeichenblatt und
seiner Schrift "Sekreta", die
1621 in Augsburg gedruckt wurde.

Dem schließen sich weitere Ausführungen mit dem Titel Johann Faulhaber (1580 - 1635) an, in denen auch René Descartes und Johannes Kepler genannt werden.

Desweiteren ist ein Exemplar eines Keplerkessels ausgestellt. Hierzu lautet der Begleittext:

In the most upper floor of the Ulm museum those exhibits are presented which are concerned with the history of this town. By this one can find a portrait of the arithmetician Johann Faulhaber who was born in Ulm. The explaining text is given only in German and may be translated as follows:

The (half body) portrait shows
Faulhaber with dividers,
drawing sheet rolled up, and
with his book "Sekreta" which
was printed in Augsburg in 1621.

There are some more explanations with the title Johann Faulhaber (1580 - 1635) mentioning also René Descartes and Johannes Kepler.

Moreover a copy of the Kepler kettle is exhibited. The accompanying text reads like:
