Entry in a table related to the history of Bled's castle concerning Nicolaus of Cusa in Bled (Slovenia)

Die Burg zu Bled (siehe das Bild am Ende dieser Seite) beherbergt auch eine Ausstellung, deren Exponate die Geschichte der historischen Entwicklung der Landschaft um den See herum seit der Bronzezeit erzählen und die unter anderem eine Zeittafel enthält, auf der Ereignisse im Zeitraum von 1004 bis zum Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts genannt werden, die einen Zusammenhang mit den Bischöfen von Brixen herstellen. Die Burg von Bled war im genannten Zeitraum ein Lehen der Bistums Brixen. Von 1450 bis 1464 war Nikolaus von Kues Bischof von Brixen und hat im Jahr 1458 gemäß dem oben abgebildeten Eintrag die Burg von Bled besucht.

Weiter unten ist die Zeittafel in Gänze abgebildet; auf dem Bild ganz unten sind hinter der Burg über dem See von Bled die Karawanken zu erkennen.

The castle in Bled (see the photograph at the end of this page) also hosts an exhibition. The exhibits are concerned with its historical development of the area arround the lake since the Bronze Age. It contains especially a chronological table which lists the occurences from the year 1004 up to the beginning of the 19^th century in connection of the bishops of Brixen. The castle was a fief of the bishopric of Brixen within the period mentioned. From 1450 up to 1464 Nicolaus of Cusa was bishop of Brixen and visited the castle of Bled in 1458.
