Die 1000-Słoty-Banknote einer früheren Serie der polnischen Nationalbank ziert ein Porträt des Mathematikers Nikolaus Kopernikus. Auf der Rückseite der Banknote ist das Sonnensystem mit den seinerzeit bekannten Planeten in einer schematischen Darstellung abgebildet.

The 1000 słoty banknote of an earlier series of the Polish National Bank shows a portrait of the mathematician Nicolaus Copernicus. The reverse side of the banknote contains a schematic presentation of the solar system with the planets known at Copernicus era.
