Am Gebäude in der Marktgasse 17 (Ecke Wettergasse) sind zwei Tafeln angebracht, die
darauf hinweisen, dass Hermann Vultejus, Professor der Rechte von 1580 bis 1634 und
Christian Wolff, Professor der
Philosophie von 1723 bis 1740 in diesem Haus gewohnt haben. Im Erdgeschoss ist heute eine
Weinhandlung beheimatet.
C. Wolff war im genannten Zeitraum Professor an der Philipps-Universität
in Marburg.

The house with address Marktgasse 17 directly with the junction with the street
Wettergasse there are two plaques. The one is devoted to professor of laws
Hermann Vultejus who lived here from 1580 up to 1634. The other one informs that
Christian Wolff, professor for
philosophy lived here from 1723 up to 1740.
C. Wolff was professor at the university of Marburg in the period mentioned on the plaque.
