Plaque for Emmy and Max Noether in Erlangen (Germany)

Im Mathematischen Institut der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg - die Adresse lautet Bismarckstraße 1 1/2 - befindet sich rechts vom Eingang auf halber Treppe eine schlichte Marmortafel mit dem Namen der Mathematikerin Emmy Noether und dem ihres Vates Max Noether. Diese Tafel wurde 1982 im Zusammenhang mit den Feierlichkeiten zum 100. Geburtstag von Emmy Noether enthüllt (siehe den Artikel Öffentliche Würdigung von Emmy Noether in Erlangen).

In the ">institute for mathematics of the university Erlangen-Nuremberg possesses a simple marble plaque showing the names of the mathematician Emmy Noether and her father Max Noether. The address of the institute is Bismarckstraße 1 1/2. The plaque can be found at the staircase at the right of the entrance. This plaque was unveiled 1982 during the ceremonies in occasion of the 100^th anniversary of the birth of Emmy Noether (cf. here).
