An der Wand zwischen Hof des
Lutherhauses
und dem Parkplatz befindet sich eine Tafel zu
Tycho Brahe.
T. Brahe wird auf dieser Tafel auch als Mathematiker bezeichnet; allerdings sind
mathematische Leistungen von ihm nicht bekannt. Vielmehr haben seine genauen
Beobachtungsergebnisse J. Kepler zu dessen Gesetzen der Planetenbewegung geführt.
Der Text dieser Tafel lautet:
Die Aussage in der letzten Zeile bezieht sich darauf, dass T. Brahe 1599 auf Weg nach Prag etwa ein halbes Jahr mit seinen beiden Söhnen bei J. Jessenius im Melanchthonhaus wohnte (vergleiche auch [1, S. 21]).

precise results led J. kepler to his laws of planetary motion.
The text of the plaque reads like:
The statement of the last line of this text refers to the fact that on their way to Prague in 1599 T. Brahe and his two sons lived for approximately a half year in the Melanchthon house with J. Jessenius (cf. [1, p. 21].
