Die oben abgebildete Marmortafel im Hauptgebäude der Rheinisch-Westfälischen Technischen Hochschule in der Straße Templergraben zeigt die Lebensdaten des Mathematikers Otto Blumenthal auf. Die Tafel befindet sich im Treppenaufgang im ersten Obergeschoss vor dem Hörsaal 1. Sie ist schlicht gehalten und zeigt die folgenden Informationen:

Das Foto wurde im Januar 2009 aufgenommen. Die Möglichkeiten eines Steinmetzes sind einem mit der Funktionalität von HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) nicht unbedingt gegeben. Der Autor hofft, doch einigermaßen die Struktur der Gedenktafel wiedergegeben zu haben.

The marble plaque shown at the top of this page shows the dates of life of the mathematician Otto Blumenthal. It is located in the first upper floor just before the lecture hall 1 in the main building of the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule in the street named Templergraben.
