Die Vorderfront des Auditorium der Georg-August-Universität in der Weender Landstraße 1 in Göttingen schmücken nicht nur vier Standbilder beidseitig des Portals (vergleiche auch Standbild von G. W. Leibniz), sondern auch verschiedene Medaillons mit Büsten als Zierelemente. Eines davon zeigt den Fürsten der Mathematiker Carl Friedrich Gauß.

The frontside of the so-called Auditorium of the Georg August University located in the Weender Landstraße 1 in Göttingen is not only decorated by four sculptures on both sides of the main entrance (cf. also the monument of G. W. Leibniz). But there are also several medallions with busts. One of them shows the mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauß.
