deutsch Im Eingangsbereich des Mathematischen Instituts der Universität Bonn in der Wegelerstraße 10 sind Gedenktafeln zur Erinnerung an die Verfolgung von Otto Toeplitz und Felix Hausdorff angebracht (siehe auch Pflasterstein zum Gedenken an Felix Hausdorff in Bonn-Kessenich).

Die Texte auf den Gedenktafeln lauten:

Zum Andenken an Otto Toeplitz
1.8.1881 - 15.2.1940
Mathematiker, Lehrer und Kollege
von 1928 bis 1935

Von den Nationalsozialisten
erniedrigt, gedemütigt und vertrieben
weil er Jude war.
An dieser Universität wirkte 1921 - 1935
der Mathematiker Felix Hausdorff
8.11.1868 - 26.1.1942

Er wurde von den Nationalsozialisten
in den Tod getrieben, weil er Jude war.
Mit ihm ehren wir alle Opfer der Tyrannei.
Nie wieder Gewaltherrschaft und Krieg!

mathematician, teacher, and colleague
from 1928 up to 1935

Degraded, humiliated, and expelled
by the National Socialists
because he was a Jew.
In the years 1921 - 1935 the mathematician
Felix Hausdorff worked at this university.
His dates of life: 11/8/1868 - 1/26/1942

Induced to death by the
National Socialists, because he was a Jew.
By him we honour all the victims of tyranny.
Never again depotism and war!
